Nights....and Rain....Suck

What  a MISERABLE NIGHT.......went to bed at 10pm......Jaz, Rowdy and of course the self-proclaimed sex-starved instigator of all the screaming and whining from the boys,  MILEY,  started inflaming them full charge at 1am.  I got out of bed and got them all situated ...  and then finally said to hell with it and got up once and for all at 1:30..... and have been here ever since.  <yawn>

Not a lot of active 2-way computer conversations in the middle of the night with shows going on all over for the weekend.  I managed to update a couple web pages, do three loads of laundry (folded and put away, mind ya),  aggravate my husband with the washing machine,  dishwasher and squeaky clothes dryer running.....who would'a thought he was still trying to sleep?.... Oh, and changed puppy bedding.

Only thing here... is that I've consumed TWO POTS of coffee, and I swear more has come OUT than what went IN.  Lost count of the potty trips from the office to the porcelain plumbing room after about 10 or so.  Good exercise, I suppose.  Yikes. 

I will be sooooo happy when our oversexed little Miley gives it up and things go back to normal around here. Well, as normal as things go, I suspect anyway.  Zara has been in AND OUT in the time it's taken Miley to become a ravaging sex maniac.  She is one of those dogs who never does ANYTHING half-assed.  It's fult tilt to the max...or nothing.  She is determined to make babies through either a fence or an xpen.  Jaz and Rowdy are happy to attempt accomodating her.....and give me just rabid looks when I foil everyone's well laid plans.  Too bad guys......no more babies this year!!!! Jaz has discovered if he sits quietly, he's more apt to get out of the dog room.  (Sadly, for him....only to find Miley cooped in the back room.  HAH!!)  Rowdy has more patience....he just lays down and naps......and w-a-i-t-s.  <lol>

Fall has "fallen" according to the crappy weather.  Granted, we needed rain....but we didn't need it all at one time.  Maybe a blue sky break now and then would be nice. 

God, I hate raking leaves off the deck....then off the driveway, then off the lawn, etc, etc, etc.  I bought Keith a leaf blower, but, well......  that's another story altogether.  He has a problem now and then with mechanical things.  The blower seems to be one of the things destined for the junk pile.  So get the bloody rake, Judy, and stop whining.

I have a couple Lavender Plants out front and forgot to put one of them into a covered area the other day. 

The result was an attractively "decorated" Lavender potted plant......with lovely Fall Leaves.

Ran out this morning when we had a break in the rain and shot this quick pic of our back field.  I've taken many of this same area....and like to do them for each season.  It's changing rapidly, and I suspect maybe the next shot will be with snow....YUCK!  Got a couple really cool snow shots last season.

So then.....it's wet, chilly and not particularly pleasant outside.  However, inside for the moment.....wow, it's actually quiet.  I think maybe the sex maniacs have worn themselves out for a while.  Now don't I wish I was able to take a nap in the daytime.  Sigh....  I envy those of you who can do that.....I cannot.  Half hour nap would mean no sleep tonight at all.

Wish we had results from Saturday's TFT's at the Black Mountain KC in Vegas.  Jack Bradshaw (Super) is seriously slow with their results and no one seems to be posting winners on FB.  Drat.
