I normally have scads of patience, but when waiting for puppies is concerned, I get really antsy. Zoey is hopefully "due".....according to the vet, according to all the dogs in the house, and acording to my calculations. However, ACCORDING TO ZOEY, we're either all wrong, or she's just happy being fat and pregnant.
AND she is not happy with me messing with taking her temp, taking photos, doing anything other than gently massaging her tummy. (God, just take a look at the expression on this photo and it says it all)What REALLY makes her happy is watching me chopping up broiled chcken breasts or thighs for her own personal pleasure. She's at the stage that MEAT! MEAT! MEAT! is at the top of her menu preferences. Meat and string cheese, that is. Bless their little hearts.....they KNOW you will cave in when they're at this stage of pregnancy, and they can pretty much rule the roost for while.
She is very good at it.
So we wait....and wait....
Macci is due to leave tomorrow morning to go down and meet his breeder in Medford, Oregon....... so he can go stay with her for a while and maybe the two of them can play in the show rings in her area. White/Chocolate/Tan's have a helluva time up here. Don't understand it.....the same judges are here AND down there. Go figure. He deserves the best chance we can give him, because he is SUCH a nice little guy.....so he's gonna leave home for a while. Back to where he was born....where is mom and dad are.

I was looking forward to seeing Terry Hall again, (Macci's Breeder), since we haven't seen each other since earlier in the year. But it's looking like I'll have to give him a big hug and kiss him goodbye here at home when Keith leaves with him to drive down and meet Terry in Medford. It's a 5 1/2 hour drive one way, so unless we get puppies tonight and they're doing fantastic, there is just no way I can go off and leave Zoey alone that long. It's not looking too promising right now.
We'll just have to do like we always do.
Wait, wait, wait......
We have a lovely gal up in Fairbanks who has been promised a show bitch from this litter and I'm suspecting she is a serious nervous wreck by now. Speaking of "waiting". <lol>
That's it for today.....Y'all have a great day!!
