Home From The Show With a New Champion

It was a good weekend in Moses Lake, Wa......Jaz went WD/BOW on Saturday under Judge Sandy Wheat and she told me she really loved the way he looked and moved.  Picked up that 14th point.
Sunday, also WD/BOW to get  his last point to finish his championship under Esteemed Terrier Breeder Judge Kathleen Grosso.  Who, by the way, said she LOVED to watch him move.

Goooood job, Jaz.  Mom and Dad are really proud of ya.  So is your breeder in Texas.  Had to call Michelle Liggett asap after the show to let her know her faith in her home bred boy paid off.  Hes's just an awesome little dog with such an amazing temperament.  Well.....except when he's in  a show building and is determined with his VERY LOUD MOUTH to let every dog within his sight or hearing KNOW that HE IS A 100 POUND DOG WHO CAN WHIP HIS WEIGHT IN ALIGATORS.  Pretty ballsie for a little dog who tips the scale at 7 pounds on a good day.

I swear, I must have threatened to debark him with his collar and leash about 50 times on Sunday.

We got what I hope will be a really nice show win pic.  Randy Roberts usually does an awesome job, so we have our fingers crossed.  I'll post it when it comes and I get it scanned.

The weather in Moses Lake was sunny and brisk..... but God, is it ever DRY over there.  My fingers and cuticles started to crack, lips were doing the same.  My nose felt like someone had been using a hair dryer inside it.  Argh.  Like ZERO moisture in the air.  NOT to my liking.  Guess I'll stick to the westside with green trees, lots of grass......... and rain to keep them that way.  And to keep ME from making like a prune.

I've got Jaz entered in BOB on the 5-6 of May with his first excursion into the Special's ring.  Don't expect to win, but hope he shows like I know he can.  He's a trip in the ring.  Cocky little stinker.

Checked the scales for me this morning.  Seems I dropped a couple pounds over the weekend.  I expect one or more of those pounds will vascilate on and off for the next few days, but I FEEL good, so that's important.  Still having issues with show clothes to wear in the ring.  Even jackets I only bought a couple weeks ago are hanging kind of like clown suit potato sacks. <lol>  Also bought a couple pair of inexpensive (thank goodness) jeans last Thursday (this is Monday).  Went to put a pair of them on today, and they look seriously baggy in the butt and backs of the legs.  Cripes.  I'll be glad when this is all said and done and I can just go get something to wear that will fit for a while.  sigh.....   bitch, bitch, bitch....guess I'd bitch if I was hung with a new rope.  After all, who want to be the first to get the kinks out.

Later,........
