Monday morning.....it's Spring (somewhere I suppose), my pain is still absent and I'm actually looking forward and up for the first time in several months.
Had my Endoscopy last Friday and they found 2 massive ulcers, one smaller and one at the jucture of tummy and upper colon. Count em.....that's FOUR. How much room is there in a stomach? Yikes. Doc gave me some pills to take once a day, and some others to take 3x a day. My God! It was the first time in so long I cannot remember that the pain subsided.
As long as I eat healthy and CLOSELY watch any fat intake, life should go on. I do know that the pain from eating has caused me to drop 27 pounds and 2 clothes sizes. That was needed, but what a way to do it. Honestly? I didn't know anything could hurt as bad as it did. I was actually praying to not wake up each morning, so the pain would stop.
Went to the dog shows this weekend and brought home another point on Jaz. He only needs 2 singles now to finish. Also placed our little white/black/tan girl, Janna, into a great show home. She'll be one of only two TFT's instead of battling for her place here. Boy, do we miss her tho. It's amazing what a huge piece of real estate that little girl occupied in this house and family. We also decided to put our two chocolate TFT's up for sale. Cutting back a bit and hoping to find a lovely Black Tri show puppy girl, so I'll have something to show once Jaz is finished.
The weather was really nice all weekend, but woke up to typical crappy and dreary skies this morning. DEpressing....damp and just overall makes ya want to stay inside and veg.
